Many people are not aware that there are over 40 types of Medicaid in Texas. While most of them are for those who are impoverished, there are a handful of Medicaid programs that are for working class and middle class citizens that need home health or nursing home care. Most Texans are not accessing the benefits they are owed because the process of applying is so difficult. This presentation will provide some key elements necessary to navigate and manage Medicaid and Medicare for the elderly and people with disabilities.
