The goal of discovery in civil trial is to facilitate the exchange of all necessary information between the parties prior to trial - but when one side asks for more than they're entitled to, the Rules of Procedure, and case law give attorneys the tools to narrow the scope of the other side's requests. In this webinar, we'll cover the basics of objecting to discovery, the foundation of various kinds of objections, and the function of discovery practice in general. This seminar has been approved by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization for certification and recertification continuing legal education.
