In today’s electronic world the ability to create or amend a contract is just a few clicks of your keyboard away. The Uniform Electronic Transactions Act was promulgated in 1999 to help states prepare for electronic commerce. Texas has also enacted its own version of the law under the Texas’ Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA).
