The #MeToo movement and related developments have focused awareness on workplace harassment, especially conduct related to male behavior toward female employees. As a result, some employers have realized the potential for positive changes, while others have experienced claims of harassment and liability by employees who learn of the legal protections available. This presentation is designed to educate employers and employees on the law, the procedure, and the strategies for avoiding discriminatory and harassing conduct in the workplace. It will also address strategies for responding to harassment and similar conduct.
This seminar has been approved by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization for certification and recertification continuing legal education.
